Nelson Lake Fishing Regulations 2009

Specific Regulations

Panfish - 10 per day in aggregate (bluegill & crappie)

Northern Pike - 32 inch minimum, one fish per day

Largemouth Bass - no minimum length, 5 fish per day

Walleye - 15 inch minimum, 3 fish per day

The Northern Bass zone, above highway 77, including Nelson Lake, is catch and release only from the opener on May 5th until June 15th. Be advised this Bass no minimum size limit is for Nelson Lake only.
