Nelson Lake Association Board Meeting
February 9, 2017

Meeting opened at 6:30 pm by Pres. Bill Wilcox.

Present: Bill Wilcox, Casey Stangl, Rick Lindner, Gordy Christians, Kelly Plote, Ruth Lindner,
Tom LeMay, John Welter

Financial Report: We have $1,601.58 in the checking acct., $37,398.04 in the Money Market acct., and a grand total of $38,999.62.

Fish Sticks Program: Approx. 113 trees were cut and secured on January 17th and 19th in five locations. This is two to three times the amount normally done because of excellent travel conditions on the ice and abundant help.

Walleyes for NW Wisconsin will have their fishing event on LCO on Sat. Feb. 11, 2017. Our help with security is scheduled.

Spring News Letter: Have articles and other information to Ruth by mid-April with completion by
the end of April. Hope to have an article from Max Wolter on fish survey results, Casey to
supply financial information. Also will need information to promote the summer garage sale
and annual meeting. Possible article on proposed fishing platform, John to check on feasibility
of a permanent dock built on pilings.

Raffle Ideas: Some form of electronic device such as an I-pad, or Apple watch was determined
to be the best for overall interest. Rick, Ruth, and Bill will look at options for the April meeting.

Elections: Casey, Kelly, Ruth, and John have terms that will expire this year. All have agreed
to serve another term except for Casey who wants to stay on the board, but not serve as
treasurer.
