Nelson L Assoc Board Meeting
Aug. 7, 2017
The meeting was opened precisely at 6:30 pm by Pres. Bill Wilcox.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and accepted via email.
Members present: Bill Wilcox, Harold Burton, Rick Lindner, Gordy Christians, Kelly Plote, Tom Le May, John Welter, Cara Goldman, and Steve Bilitz.

Treasurer’s Report: There is $9,686 in the checking account. The garage sale provided funds of $1,236. The Money Market fund has $37,434 in it. All bills are paid.
Plans were completed for the Aug. 12th annual picnic. We will have 26 tables and approx. 140 chairs ready for the event. Set-up time will begin at 2 pm with the picnic running from 4-7pm. Chicken will come from Chester’s and Market Place Foods. Various activities were assigned.

Fall Newsletter: Get any newsletter info to Ruth Lindner by the end of September. Information on stocking plans and numbers will come to us shortly from Max Wolter at the DNR-Fisheries office in Hayward. Nelson Lake will be stocked in Sept. with extended growth walleyes and crappie minnows for walleye food.

Fishing Dock near the dam: This project is currently on hold. Plans for the park area project on top of the hill are being finalized.

Fish Sticks Program – There are no plans for this winter at this time.
